2026-27 Events
Madrigal Evenings
Come gather around the piano to sing English and Italian madrigals (examples: The Silver Swan; Now is the Month of Maying). We’ll throw in some songs from our old Europa Cantat books as well. Ralph Nelson will play and conduct. We’ll learn 7-8 songs before we break for dessert; then we’ll come back and learn 5-6 more songs. Finally, we'll sing through some of our favorites one more time. All skill levels welcome!

St. Matthew Passion
The St. Matthew Passion is an amazing musical acheivement, and Bach's largest work. It is written for double choir and double orchestra. The narrative portions are from the gospel of St. Matthew and are sung primarily in recitative by the Evangelist, Jesus and singers in several minor roles.
This concert celebrates the 300th anniversary of Bach’s first performance of this work, on Good Friday, April 11, 1727.

Leipzig Tour Send-Off Concert
The choir has again been invited to sing at the prestigious Leipzig Bach Fest in June 2027. We will give concerts in Leipzig, Nuremberg, Salzburg, and Bad Ischl, Austria.
